How to Exhibit with Arbor Gallery
We prefer to receive submissions by email. You can submit your work by sending up to 10 jpegs along with an artist’s CV and artist’s statement. In your email, please indicate which of the exhibition options you are applying for (Solo or Group) and, if applicable, include the name of the group exhibition in the subject line.
You may send in a submission by email at any time. General submissions are reviewed by the board and you can expect a response by email. If your submission is for specific exhibition and you have met the submission deadline, you will receive a timely response.
If you send a link to your website, please make it a direct link to the images you wish to submit rather than a link to your home page. Submit your work to: email@example.com. We regret that we cannot accept submissions of originals, or packages by mail or hand delivery. Submissions must be by email and include images in .jpeg format.
There are three ways to exhibit with us:
A group exhibition can be a group organized by the gallery or by a group of artists who decide to organize their own show. Please get in touch if you have a group show you'd like to propose.
All artists exhibiting with the gallery must purchase an annual Artist-Membership. Your membership is due after your work has been accepted for exhibition by the gallery but before the hanging date of your exhibition.
Membership fees are $40 for the year, along with a donation of a small (5 x 7) unframed, unmatted artwork for fundraising purposes. Artist members also have the option to gallery sit or volunteer with the gallery one day per month for a reduced rate of commission on their sales. Please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org to submit your work and to obtain a copy of our Artist’s Membership application.
The gallery provides the exhibition space for the show and use of the gallery's tools for installation and kitchen (including 50 wineglasses) for the vernissage. The Gallery staffs the exhibition, gives the artist a copy of our mailing lists, and a press list. We also purchase an ad to promote the show in the local paper. It is possible to share your show with one or more artists for a group exhibition.
Contact us at: email@example.com to submit your work.
The decision of the gallery's directors is final. All applicants may reapply with new work. Critiques will not be provided for artworks that are not selected.
