There are several ways you can support Arbor Gallery:
Become a “Friend of the Arbor Gallery”
As you can imagine in a heritage building, our overhead is quite high. Funds from Friends of the Arbor Gallery Memberships help to offset our operating expenses, ensuring that we can focus on producing excellent exhibitions and events for the whole community to enjoy. Benefits include: invitations by mail for every Art Exhibition presented at the Gallery, a $5 gallery gift certificate to spend as you wish, discount on art courses offered at the gallery, and, of course, an opportunity to support your local centre promoting cultural initiatives.
Individual = $25, Family = $40, Corporate = $60.
The Friends of the Arbor Gallery Membership year ends each year in December, but you can sign up at any time by visiting the gallery and filling in our membership form. Volunteer!
We are staffed during our weekend business hours by volunteers from our community. These wonderful people make our exhibitions possible! If you would like to become a volunteer gallery sitter, drop us an email at contact(at)arborgallery.org - replacing (at) with @ or phone us at 1-877-616-5086. Placements for highschool students seeking their 40 hours of community volunteering are available.
Donate!
Arbor Gallery Centre for Contemporary Art gratefuly accepts your donations. Help us continue to offer high quality arts programming in our community. We are able to offer charitable tax receipts for some donations via a partnership with Terre Des Hommes Canada. (TDH) We have a joint project with TDH to offer Arts-Education programming in the community to children and teens. If you donate $20 or more to this program, TDH can issue you a tax receipt.
